Demonetization and Search Engine Demotion Steps are Taking Dangerous Route Against Freedom of Speech under the Umbrella of Covid and Media Public Opinion Shaping
News outlets, advertising companies, radical lawmakers and social media giants are accelerating their influence on confining the limits of what is considered acceptable public ideas and investigations using so called “experts” that decide what facts are right and what idea or other opinion should be demoted from the media.
The social media giants use “conventional wisdom”, algorithms and shareable methods to restrict or overtake other companies or share information and methods that might restrict whoever questions far left ideology. Advertisers, news outlets and technological companies use the increasing divisiveness of the political arena and the Covid-19 smokescreen to advance their agendas and power grab.
We are quickly moving towards two internet universes, one controlled by liberal and leftist tech giants, the other controlled by upstart conservative services providing a refuge for deplatformed, demonetized, and throttled conservatives. This emerging decoupling is wholly a product of deplatforming of non-leftists at Facebook, Twitter, and elsewhere. Demonitization is a subset of deplatforming, a way to deprive creators of an income stream from a platform. Another form of demonetization is cutting advertisers off from generating revenue at a website, TV, or radio show. That has been the preferred method for Media Matters and others in attacking Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, and other conservative media.
